Atma Kriya Yoga

Have you ever felt that your spiritual practice is lacking something? That meditation feels more like a method than a living experience—effective, perhaps, but missing a sense of warmth and connection?
Most people know that Kriya means action and Yoga means union. Yet there is a practice that is often described as the pinnacle of the yogic path: Atma Kriya Yoga.
What will you gain from this course?
While Kriya Yoga focuses on balancing the body and energy system, Atma Kriya Yoga is centered on awakening the soul (Atman). Its essence is bhakti—the path of unconditional love, devotion, and a heartfelt connection with the Divine.
Spiritual Journey
Love as a Transformative Force
This is more than just a practice—it is a path that teaches you how to turn every breath into a connection with Divine Love.
The Blessing of Shaktipat
One of the most precious aspects of this course is the blessing of Shaktipat—a sacred transmission of spiritual energy received through the lineage of Mahavatar Babaji and Paramahamsa Vishwananda. It greatly amplifies the effectiveness of your practice and helps purify accumulated karma.
Deep Inner Transformation
Atma Kriya Yoga awakens love for yourself, for those around you, and for the world as a whole. It guides you from the mind into the heart.
What will you gain from this course?
- A deep sense of inner peace that does not depend on external circumstances.
- Access to ancient and sacred yogic techniques.
- A lasting source of energy and greater mental clarity.
- Most importantly, the experience of unconditional love—a state of being that brings deeper meaning and purpose to life.
Bhakti – Love and Devotion to God
Bhakti is pure love that expresses itself through devotion to God. Atma Kriya Yoga helps you cultivate a profound awareness of the eternal divinity that permeates everything and everyone, including yourself. The practice gives you proven techniques to build a uniquely personal relationship with the Divine with each breath and every beat of your heart.
Kriya-yoga
Kriya-yoga is beyond time. Over thousands of years of practice, ancient rishis and sages discovered techniques to still the mind, rise above the limitations of this physical reality and connect with the divinity that permeates all of creation. These techniques remained mostly secret until the mid-1800s.
Masters

Mahavatar Babaji is an immortal yogi known as the father of all kriya-yoga traditions. He is the living embodiment of kriya-yoga. Through His grace and that of another kriya master, Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda, this ancient knowledge is available today in the form of Atma Kriya Yoga. It is the kriya-yoga best suited to help you rapidly advance on your spiritual path, especially in the face of the turmoil of our current times.
Kriya-yoga is an inside job
What’s beautiful about this practice is not what you see or do on the outside, it is about what is happening on the inside. Outwardly, the practice helps you to focus the mind, which purifies emotions and helps you to manage life’s upsets better. Inwardly, the kriya energy burns away lifetimes of karma, which allows the light of your soul to shine brighter, benefitting you and positively impacting those around you.
Quality Over Quantity
Atma Kriya Yoga techniques are so powerful that the number of repetitions is limited, leaving you more time to enjoy your life. The practice is not about quantity. It is about quality. Rather than focusing on accomplishment and achievement, the practice is about cultivating your own personal relationship with the Divine.
Techniques and the Value of Practice
Power and Love
There are only 15 techniques in Atma Kriya Yoga; each one holds the essence and power of all kriya-yoga. Each technique cultivates one of the nine forms of bhakti, which is what makes Atma Kriya Yoga so special. Bringing awareness to the Divine in every action you take enriches your life and amplifies the love you experience. When done properly, with pure love and devotion, every single technique has the potential to take you to God-realisation. Setting aside time to practice is like making a date with Divine, it is the perfect way to cultivate your own personal relationship with God.
Atma Kriya Yoga techniques include mantra, meditation techniques, sound yoga, group chanting, pranayama, asanas, mudras, and the main kriya. Plus, you’ll also learn a protective shielding technique to protect you from negativity and receive a Shaktipat Initiation.
Gift of Grace
The gift of grace inherent in Atma Kriya Yoga is delivered through the Shaktipat Initiation. Due to the grace of all the kriya masters, and the Divine Mother, there is an innate intelligence in the practice that blossoms naturally. It organically guides each yogi throughout their journey to God, taking them step by step, at a pace that is just right for them. This grace is a seed that will sprout when the yogi has been purified enough to receive it.
Helping Humanity
Everyone wants to experience true unconditional love and lasting happiness. Since everything in this physical reality is temporary and constantly changing this goal is difficult, if not impossible, to attain. It is only when we turn our attention to that which is eternal, God, that we can truly find lasting love and happiness.
Atma Kriya Yoga teaches you how to find the source of true unconditional Love within your own heart. It also allows you to be of service to humanity by transforming your whole being into a beacon of Divine Love and light, spreading joy and positivity everywhere you go.
